This experience may be at a higher education setting or in private architectural practice, or similar type of position. Experience with research and instructional laboratories, active learning environments, university housing, varsity and recreation sports facilities, and complex phased projects is preferred.At least 10 years of increasingly responsible experience with leadership of higher education facilities design including campus planning, historic preservation, architecture including interior design, and oversight of project management, and other activities related to the duties and responsibilities of the position is preferred.Valid and current Georgia Registered Architect, or ability to promptly transfer registration from another state is preferred.Bachelor’s Degree is required preferably in architecture or closely related field.Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.
