So Mer might not be ready for the rigors of surgery again, but she’s still fighting like hell for her patients. She also decides to do the bronchoscopy herself, but she starts feeling dizzy during the operation and asks for a wheelchair. Mer also cancels rounds and assigns all the residents to Gurlie’s case. But then she collapses in the ambulance bay, and Mer diagnoses her with multifocal pneumonia. After two weeks on a vent, she recovers well enough to check herself out-and to chat with Mer about COVID after-effects.
